However, it appears Liverpool will press ahead with plans to freshen up their frontline regardless. report that the Reds have been impressed by the performances of Mbeumo, who like Salah is a left-footed forward who primarily plays from the right. Arne Slot could be allowed to spend £200m this summer as he looks to build a dynasty on Merseyside, and it's estimated Cameroon international Mbeumo would cost in the region of £50m.
