Andre Green joined up with Charlton Athletic in January on loan from Aston Villa, representing a man who desperately needed to turn his season around.
He had spent the first half of the campaign with Preston North End but had been given next-to-no opportunity to prove himself at Deepdale.
He made just four substitute appearances in the entire league campaign, which totalled a measly 87 minutes on the pitch.

The thing with the move is that the Addicks were relying on Green getting off to a quick start, due to injuries they have had to the likes of Lyle Taylor and Macauley Bonne at different stages.
He has already been given an opportunity to prove himself by Lee Bowyer, making three starts and one substitute appearance in red already, which have seen him amass 256 minutes.
His first big moment came at the perfect time for him, scoring away at Preston – netting a goal at Deepdale for the first time this campaign despite being on loan there.
That has since been followed up by a sweet strike to score Charlton’s second goal in a relegation six-pointer against Barnsley, showing incredible mental strength to do so shortly after suffering from a personal loss.

It may have only been three starts and one substitute appearance that Green has played for Charlton, but he has already begun to show that he can turn his season around.
What should be even more exciting for Charlton fans is the prospect of seeing him alongside the talismanic striker Lyle Taylor – especially after the pair scored both of the Addicks’ goals on Saturday.
With another bottom of the table clash coming up against Stoke City, it would be a massive boost for Charlton if the 21-year-old is able to continue the form he has shown since arriving at the Valley.
