Grealish endured a difficult 2023-24 campaign for the Cityzens as he managed to score just three goals and provided as many assists in 36 appearances across all competitions. His poor form led to Gareth Southgate dropping him from the 26-member England squad that finished runners-up in the recently concluded Euro 2024. The 28-year-old, however, is using the national team snub to motivate himself to elevate his performance in the upcoming 2024/25 season.
